Everything you need to sign in to your Uphold Wallet or Uphold Exchange account, fix common login issues, and reset two-factor authentication safely.
What is Uphold Login?
Uphold Login lets users securely access their Uphold account to manage the Uphold Wallet, trade on the Uphold Exchange, send and receive crypto, and view balances and transaction history.
Sign-in is available on uphold.com and through the Uphold mobile apps. Authentication supports email/password, OAuth (social sign-in where available), and multi-factor authentication for extra security.
How to sign in (step-by-step)
Open your browser and go to uphold.com or open the Uphold mobile app.
Click Sign in or enter your registered email address and password on the login screen.
If prompted, complete two-factor authentication (2FA) using your authenticator app or secondary method.
After successful authentication you’ll be taken to your Dashboard / Wallet view where you can access the Exchange, transfer funds, or manage settings.
Tip: Use a strong, unique password and enable 2FA for better account protection.
Troubleshooting common login issues
Incorrect password: Use the “Forgot password” link to reset via your registered email.
Email not recognized: Confirm you’re using the email linked to your Uphold account; try alternate emails if you have more than one.
2FA problems: If your authenticator app lost codes, see the 2FA reset options below.
Browser issues: Clear cache and cookies or try an incognito window. Disable extensions that block scripts.
Account locked: Multiple failed attempts may temporarily lock sign-in — follow on-screen prompts or contact Uphold support for account unlocking.
If you see messages like “Unable to login Uphold” or “Uphold Login not working”, follow the steps above first before contacting support to speed up resolution.
Uphold Account Recovery & 2FA reset
If you lost access to 2FA, look for a recovery option during sign-in (e.g., backup codes). If those are unavailable, use the official account recovery flow:
Start password reset from the login page if you forgot the password.
Use any saved backup codes for 2FA or the recovery link sent to your registered email.
If you cannot recover via automated methods, prepare to verify identity with documents (ID, selfie) as requested by support.
Prepare any transaction details and account info to speed support-assisted recovery.
Best practices & safety tips
Enable multi-factor authentication and keep backup codes in a secure place.
Use a hardware wallet for long-term crypto holdings when possible.
Avoid signing in on public or shared devices. If you must, use a private browser and sign out afterwards.
Beware of phishing emails — always check the domain (uphold.com) before entering credentials.
